Social Work Leadership Program is an opportunity to take leadership with social work activities, we are looking for like-minded individuals who can contribute in making this world a better place and be change agents. This is specially designed for young volunteers looking to do structured social work activities.

We expect 16-28 hours from our associates on a monthly basis to fulfil their responsibilities in the organisation along with their regular lives as students or working professionals. All the associates underthe program stand a chance to earn yearly leadership awards: Bronze, Silver and Gold.

It is an ideal program for self-motivated, dynamic, socially conscious and non- political youths, the program is structured to help associates hone skills while working therefore improving personally and professionally.

The programs also enable associates to develop communication and leadership skills through practical social work experience. This program is designed to help associates to identify, reflect and improve their competencies, skills and behaviours while giving back to the society and earning certification.

Message from Founder

The foundation of the Social Work Leadership Program is in the idea to develop a socially conscious homegrown youth network that can transform society. It makes you realise your desire to help others around you. SWLP aims to kindle consciousness among youth and drive them to lead constructive social initiatives that have a tangible positive impact. It is a youth leadership program with emphasis on developing social consciousness and giving back to society in a structured long lasting way. These tasks starting from volunteering and gradually moving towards leadership, not only gives an individual the opportunity to perform and lead but also evolve oneself as a better human being. It is designed to inspire young individuals, with the belief that each one of us has an extraordinary potential to help disadvantaged communities and people.

We call upon the youth to work together for developing their own skills and helping others in constructive work. We focus on developing our associates for their personal and professional growth (academic, career and entrepreneurship) and also contribute back to society. We work with students, working professionals, self-employed and youth in colleges and cities, to contribute to society. We are therefore looking for motivated individuals who can accept diversity and equality and work to strengthen them. I firmly believe that a wiser youth can lead to a more sustainably developed and rational society.
